1970
has always been in CREW's 1971 mod, really. Since me_Slayer isn't planning to do 1970, I've uploaded my "instant" 1970 season (22 cars) at www.mediafire.com/file/mj5tumgmmjm/SeasonData 1970.rar These files should not overwrite anything if you merge them with 1971. I simply made the artwork correct for at least one race in '70; occasionally, as with the engine cover/rear-wing struts for the McLarens, I made some pieces from scratch.

1976 & 1977
I got hung up for a while because I decided my last hurrah as a modeler would be making the Ligier "teapot dome" car from 1976. Now that it's done the 1976 carset is at www.mediafire.com/file/zyhnjwkjtvt/SeasonData 1976-1.rar and www.mediafire.com/file/hm2no2nqnta/SeasonData 1976-2.rar. There are 35 cars, almost all of them derived from CREW's 1975 mod; a few are taken from David's 1977 carset, which I've also uploaded, at www.mediafire.com/file/himlzymtym1/SeasonData 1977.rar. Apparently the people working on 1977 didn't receive the entire set, so hopefully this will help move that work along. There are 36 cars; I'm only attaching screenshots of the seven cars I've done for '77 (one of which is yet another Iberia Airlines McLaren). I haven't changed much (apart from finishing the Penske) except for replacing the transparent steering wheels in the original carset and fixing the "long shadows" problem. (There are still more cars available in the 1977 files, but if you activate them you'll probably find they're casting long shadows.) I didn't have this '77 set when I started on '76; it would have saved me a lot of trouble with the Lotus, in particular.

I neglected to mention in the thread for 1976-77 that the principle in all this was to represent every team that actually ran at least one race in each season. There are three sources for 1978: CREW's 1975 carset, David's 1977 carset, and the GP79 mod from rFactor.

The leading teams are my own conversions from rFactor; I've simply added the backmarkers from the conversion of the full GP79 mod done by wookey's team, so I'm not going to upload lots of screenshots. About the only improvement I've done for the latter is to straighten out the stripes on the Ensign.

28 cars for 1980, representing all the teams that actually ran a rac, can be downloaded at www.mediafire.com/file/ejnyk0f51zo/SeasonData 1980.rar Almost all of these cars are derived from the GP79 mod for rFactor--it was more work than it may look like at first glance--and a few skins posted at rFactor Central. The Brabham is entirely the work of CREW; I didn't do anything except recode it to include it in the 1980 season. I will continue uploading 1979 (which has less that's new in it, so I've skipped it for now) and 1981-1988 over the next few days.
I converted the 1982 & 1983 mods for gp4, made by Pedro Ripping Corpse (what a screenname) some time ago; I wonder if anyone knows if he gave permission for those cars to be released for F1C. I've fixed up my old 1983 carset a lot, so it will do, but I used his 1982 ATS to fill out the field in the original F1C carset.

Thanks for pursuing the permissions, Luigi. Pedro Ripping Corpse's 1982 gp4 Carset, converted to F1C, can be found in two parts at www.megaupload.com/?d=ICP68WB1 and www.megaupload.com/?d=PC7VUF2M. Thanks to Pedro for the great cars; he made a number of variants on the car bodies, too, so these are my selections--most of the time I used what was most familiar, but I thought the Ligier here was a great change from the exisiting one in F1C.
The helmets and bodies for 22 cars are Pedro's work; the other files come from the existing 1982 mod for F1C. I made the other 9 cars (Ensign, Fittipaldi, Marches, Osellas, Theodore, and Tolemans), sometimes using parts from Pedro's cars, and the original Ensign and Theodore made by pk4ever, which I've edited a lot. I forgot to edit the season .gdb I included; change "Turbo82" to "1982" at the top.

A conversion of Pedro Ripping Corpse's 1983 carset for gp4 has been uploaded in two parts at www.megaupload.com/?d=09XN4TYG and www.megaupload.com/?d=6OOFHBQW
There are 29 cars; I made the ATS (from a car started by Carlson1984), the Osellas (started from an '86 Tyrrell by Osccar at RSC, now considerably revised), and the Ram, and revised the Theodores (begun by pk4ever). Osccar also uploaded the Spirit at RSC; I've only polished up the artwork a little. As always, the idea is to represent each team that actually ran in a race, and the cars are a combination of Pedro's car bodies and helmets with earlier F1C material for 1983. He made many variations in carshapes and liveries for most teams, reflected slightly in my choices, such as the different Arrows liveries and the McLaren with late-season winglets. Also as always, I have not tried to make working cockpits for all 29 cars; there are working dials and readouts, with the correct eyepoint, in the McLaren, Ferrari, and a number of others, if you need to switch out cockpits for a particular car.

F1C 1982-1984 Vehicle Sounds
All the Audio/Vehicle files that should be needed for the 1982-1984 carset are at www.megaupload.com/?d=A19MATHZ
There's not really anything new here, so if you still find sounds missing, try downloading the earlier versions of the turbo years. Find the correct name of the .sfx file in the .veh files for cars that pose a problem, and then compare the names of the .wav files in the .sfx file with the .wav files in the Audio/Vehicle folder to see what sounds need to be added to it.

Ora sono nella elite di F1 Challenge, conosco gente del calibro di Wookey, o Sam Alex autore della mod 65-69 di cui sono beta tester dell'anno 1968.

Comunque, per non far confusione a scaricare i vari link che avevo messo (bisogna sostituire la cartella SeasonData ogni volta e viene un macello), è meglio scaricare la mod 76-81 fatta da Luigi
